The Victory of Samothrace also known as the Nike of Samothrace is a marble sculpture created around 200 BC. Its’ author is unknown and currently housed in the Louvre in Paris, France. It is one of the most famous sculptures in the world. The statue depicts the goddess of victory on a seaside cliff on the island of Samothrace.
