The description of the Greek god statues
The Greek god statues are a work of marble. It depicts Laocoon and his two sons being entwined to death by giant snakes. The sculpture is based on the story of the Trojan War in Greek mythology. During the Trojan War, Laocoon warned his countrymen of the dangers of carrying wooden horses left by the Greeks into the city. So Athena, the patron goddess of Greece, sent two giant pythons to Laocoon. And hang the priest and his two sons. The sculpture depicts a shocking scene in which the serpent strangles Laocoon and his sons with its deadly entangles. A snake clung to the young son’s chest. The other snake wrapped itself around his father’s thigh. Laocoon’s head is thrown back, his lips parted slightly. The face was deformed with pain.
