Description: A touching memorial to the children of the Mortonhall baby ashes scandal has been installed in Princes Street Gardens. A two-and-a-half tonne baby elephant sculpture called “Lulla-Bye” will sit in the park as a permanent reminder of the families’ loss. The elephant’s trunk is designed to look like it is cradling an infant, with small footprints going up towards its head.
